We are the Next Greatest Generation.

Millennials, Gen Z, Gen Alpha, and whatever they come up with next—each generation has gained a worse reputation than the last. Each year, the youth are supposedly less capable and more anxious the last. More anxious, more depressed, more emotional, more self-absorbed, more entitled, and even more addicted to their screens. Young people don’t know how to work or function as citizens

It’s time to create a new reputation.

There are lessons to be learned from the past—from previous generations of those who went before us and already endured life’s trials. This blog contains stories from history and from individuals who espoused certain virtues. Virtues that built this country, and virtues that we desperately need now. Virtues like responsibility, patriotism, self-respect, pride, love of fellow man, endurance, fortitude, courage, confidence, self- assurance, purpose, sacrifice, industriousness, hard work, ingenuity, and more.

It also contains, for what it’s worth, this young person’s opinion about the world and what it means to live in it.

The culture war is raging. We can continue to be passive, or we can end it. The choice is ours.
